BOISE, Idaho – A shot at the Featherweight Title is on the line for two rising MMA stars at CenturyLink Arena on Friday, Apr. 19 at 7:00 p.m. when Bobby McIntyre and Terrance “T. Wrecks” McKinney square off in the Main Event at Front Street Fights 19: McIntyre vs. McKinney.
McIntyre (9-5-0) makes his Front Street Fights debut following back-to-back first round wins to close the calendar year, taking down Nathan Thompson in October 2018 by toe hold as well as Charon Spain in July 2018 by rear naked choke. The 29-year-old fighter out of Spanaway, Wash. is ranked seventh in the Pacific Northwest and the top-100 fighters across the country among Pro Lightweights. The 5-foot-10 McIntyre has won five of his last six fights over the last two years and appears in his first bout in the state of Idaho.
McKinney (5-1-0) also makes his debut at Front Street Fights after needing just seven seconds to take down Jeff Coleman by punches in February, marking his first win by punches of his professional career. In his lone amateur bout in August 2016, the 24-year-old fighter out of Spokane, Wash. required 15 seconds for his first knockout of his career. McKinney is ranked 10th in the Pacific Northwest among Pro Welterweights and is from Sik Jitz Spokane, the training facility of multiple UFC fighters.
The winner of his bout will have the opportunity to challenge Andrew Cruz for the Featherweight Title at an upcoming Front Street Fights event. Additions to the fight card, including the co-main event, will be announced later this week.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for Front Street Fights 19 with the first fight scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
