Three fights, including co-main event, added to Front Street Fights VII

Boise, ID (10/06/15) – Front Street Fights announced on Tuesday an addition to the fight card for Front Street Fights VII at CenturyLink Arena on November 13th. Yoni Sherbatov will square off against Freddy Arteaga in a co-main event leading up to the headline fight of Scott Thometz v. Steven Siler.

Two additional pro bouts have also been added to the fight card. Ricky Steele will square off with Alan Leal, while Matt Jones will fight Regivaldo “Magrao” Carvalho.

Sherbatov is a 5-foot-2, 125-pound native of Moscow,Russia who fights out of Quebec, Canada. He brings a 3-0 record (1 TKO, 1 submission) into his first bout at Front Street Fights. Sherbatov is a second-degree black belt of Jiu-Jitsu and is a seven-time Quebec champion. He has also earned medals at the World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship, and has competed nationally in Grecco-Roman Wrestling.

Arteaga, 31, is a 5-foot-4, 135-pound Boise native with a 7-3 career record (4 KO, 2 submission). Arteaga is making his second appearance at Front Street Fights after defeating Weston Barnes at FSF IV, a one-round fight won via submission.  “Lil Man” is currently ranked 33rd by Tapology.com amongst US West Pro Flyweights.

Ricky “The Karate Kid” Steele, 27, is 3-0 in his young pro career, with his last victory on March 6th. All three of his victories have come by unanimous decision. The Boise native is making his second appearance at Front Street Fights, having beaten Gabe Pelayo in FSF 1. Steele is also currently on loan from Resurrection Fighting Alliance. Alan “Rush” Leal, 20, is a bantam-weight native of Brazil with a 4-1 record (1 KO, 2 submission). Leal makes his first appearance in Boise on a two-fight winning streak.

Jones, 22, is 3-1 in his pro career (3 submission, 1 decision). He’ll look to continue a three-fight when streak as he makes his fourth appearance at Front Street Fights. Carvalho, 21, is 3-0 (2 KO, 1 submission) in his pro career. This will be the Brazil native’s first fight in Boise.
